Stacey is a veteran of best practices in education. She taught for 14 years in urban, suburban, public and private schools in California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Stacey served as a Professional Consultant/Coach on evidence-based instructional practices at Children's Literacy Initiative for four years in our country's most at-risk elementary schools. Stacey holds a bachelor's degree in Dramatic Writing, a master's degree in Social Foundations of Education and has completed additional post-graduate study in social-emotional learning, poverty, trauma, diversity, project-based learning, play and creativity.

Stacey has studied Mindfulness Based Stress Management at the Penn Program for Mindfulness, has completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Practicum for Professionals at Jefferson's Mindfulness Institute and is a continuing student there as well as at ClearLight Meditation Institute. She completed the Still Quiet Place training created by renowned youth mindfulness expert Dr. Amy Saltzman. Stacey has completed intensive teacher training with Daniel Rechtschaffen, Founding Director of Mindful Education. Stacey has trained with Jacquie O'Malley at Project Mindful to teach Mindful Schools curriculum.  She holds a certificate of completion in Trauma-Informed Care for Professionals Working with Youth.  Passionate about mindfulness for social justice, Stacey partners with Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization on a grant-funded project that offers mindfulness in schools to disrupt the School to Prison Pipeline.     

Stacey threads together her personal mindfulness practice, her experiences as a teacher and parent, and the latest from the international mindfulness community to create the most compassionate, relevant, authentic, engaging and meaningful service possible. She believes that young people have the right to learn about their minds while they are busily and actively living their lives. She offers explicit mindfulness skills instruction and more to K-12 youth in schools, homes and community-based settings throughout the Greater Philadelphia, PA area.
