Stacey participated in Mindfulness Based Stress Management at the Penn Program for Mindfulness, completed the Practicum for Professionals in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at Jefferson’s Mindfulness Institute and is a continuing student there as well as at ClearLight Meditation Institute. She completed the Still Quiet Place Training with youth mindfulness expert Dr. Amy Saltzman. Stacey completed the Mindful Education Teacher Training with Daniel Rechtschaffen. Stacey has trained in and facilitated the Mindful Schools curriculum with Jacquie O'Malley at Project Mindful.   

Currently, Stacey takes an eclectic approach to bringing mindfulness to kindergarteners through young adults in schools, homes and community-based settings throughout the Greater Philadelphia, PA area.  Stacey is the mindfulness provider for Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization’s ”Engaging Support Enriching Lives” federally-funded project to combat the School to Prison Pipeline. 

For a combined 18 years, Stacey taught various grades K-8 in urban, suburban, public and private schools in CA, NJ and PA, and coached teachers on best literacy practices in the most at-risk schools in Camden and Philadelphia. 

Stacey holds a Master's degree in Social Foundations of Education and has completed additional post-graduate study in social-emotional learning, trauma, diversity, project-based learning, service learning, play and creativity. She holds a certificate of completion in Trauma-Informed Care for Professionals Working with Youth, and is working on completing her Advanced Adolescent Trauma certificate.
